Why I Created This Little Side-Shoot Blog . . .

So, here's my thinking - my method to this particular madness:

On their website, friends of ours post a seasonal picture taken out a particular window of their house of the French countryside. And, I've always wanted to do a photo series taken from the same spot during the course of a year - or year after year, even. So, this is my outlet.

My plan is to take a photo from the same spot on or around the first of each month. I may change the scenery every year, but for each span of twelve consecutive months we'll just focus (pun intended) on the changes in one frame of beautiful northeastern Minnesota.

Attendance to this site isn't mandatory. Matter of fact, it will probably be boring as dirt to many of you. If so, see you back at 'This is Our Life . . .' For the rest of you, stay tuned, and in a few days - when the calendar turns - I'll post the first picture!
