1 August 2006: 80 degrees at 3:15 in the afternoon. The river is SOOOO low. Nearly all of Minnesota (including us) is in a drought right now. Over the last couple of days we've just started to get a smattering of rain here and there, but it's far from the series of all-day soakers we need to catch up to a fire-safe status.
