1 May 2006: Overcast and 46 degrees at mid-day. Tom was in charge of the monthly picture yesterday since he had to make a run up to the property and I was at work. We're in a tough spot right now - trying to work on both houses - in the respect that the tools are spread between the two places. And, invariably, the one you need is at the other house! Down here by the lake the trees are starting to show some green, but up over the hill it's still as brown and grey as ever. There is still some snow in hidden spots here and there, but you have to search for it.
