WATCH THE SEASONS CHANGE AS MOTHER NATURE TRANSFORMS OUR SURROUNDINGS EACH MONTH AT SWAMP RIVER RIDGE.

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMETHING NEW AND BEAUTIFUL TO SEE . . . .

8 June 2006: My apologies for the tardiness in this month's insallment of the seasonal pictures. Our life has been, as Tom and I have recently coined it (a new word invention, but very applicable): crazo. With unseasonably warm termperatures, the trees and all-things-green were leafed out far-before-usual. Unfortunately, with this beauty also comes the untenable bugs: mosquitoes, blackflies, and no-see-ums, oh my! We hope and plan to take our first (and very late) canoe on the river tomorrow. Picture taken around 4:30 PM, temperature at a reasonable 62 degrees.
