1 April 2007

The heavy, thick fog we had on Sunday prevented much of a view of the river and valley, but it was still beautiful out. We had freezing rain the night before, and every single branch and twig was covered with wet, drippy ice. FORTUNATELY, the ground is warm enough now to prevent the nasty stuff from sticking there! I didn't happen to look at the temp when I took this, but you can bet it was in the mid-30s.

The March highs and lows were a chilly -10.8 at the beginning of the month and then a balmy, unseasonable jump up to 62.1 on the 26th! What a range: 72.9 degrees all tolled!

But, we're back to reality now: it's snowing, and we're under a winter weather watch.
