2 May 2007

I was in Duluth on the 1st and so missed the opportunity to actually take the 1st-of-the-month picture ON the first of the month. But, here I am, fewer than 24 hours late. It was about 56 degrees just before 6:30 in the evening when I took this. Tinges of green are juuuuust beginning to show themselves in the hills - as you can barely see from this shot.

April topped out at 69.3 degrees, and the low for the month was 1.6 degrees. Quite a spread!

Rainfall (most of it as melted snow that fell at the beginning of the month) totalled 2.011" which is quite normal for April, but it didn't help this drought out that we're in one bit!
